Apple AirPods 3 has entered production and the units have also started to ship from suppliers to Apple, says a new report. It adds that the initial production of the rumoured true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones from Apple has been low and could be the reason why we didn’t see them along with the iPhone 13 series at Apple’s California Streaming event on September 14. It adds that these may be launched during an event in October along with the second generation of the AirPods Pro. The launch event next month is also said to unveil new M1X chipset-powered Mac devices.

The third generation AirPods could include a charging case that has a 20 percent larger battery compared to the second generation AirPods, and with wireless charging as a standard feature. Individual batteries inside each AirPods are expected to be about the same.

A site revealed about the headphones and earbuds, believes the AirPods 3 will feature the same pressure relieving system that’s used in the AirPods Pro. The system is meant to equalize pressure within the ear to mitigate discomfort from using the AirPods for a long period of time. The AirPods 3 may also have the same touch controls as the AirPods Pro rather than the single and double-tap gestures available on current AirPods models.
